Richard, his wife Claire and their three sons, have lived in Urchfont for over 20 years. Richard spent 35 years working for an international energy company both in the UK and abroad. He retired from full time work in 2023 and in 2024 joined UPC with the intent to play a broader role in the Parish utilising his commercial experience. He enjoys travel, walking and is an enthusiastic gardener and can often be seen out and about in the village with their dog Merryn.
